Our Story
Hamar University was established on 15th May 1999 in Mogadishu, Somalia, with a mission to rebuild and strengthen higher education in the country. Since its establishment, the university has become a center for academic excellence, professional development, and innovation. Hamar University provides diverse educational opportunities across multiple disciplines including Health Sciences, Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, Agriculture, Education, and Languages.
